Thanks everyone. We’re staying away. We found a similar one in much, much better shape - no rust - with slightly higher mileage for a lower asking price. But not the Mrs is eyeing lx570’s … I suppose we’ll be at this for a bit. Thanks again.

Hi all, I found a 2002 LX470 with 80k miles on the clock with a good interior. But … There is, possibly, too much rust to mess with it at any price. Apart from the rust, the body looks straight. The AC wasn’t working when I saw it but that’s fixable. It would need a timing belt and water...
