Parting Out 1984 fj60 part out Colorado

How does the interior look? I'd be interested in all four door cards, driver's seat cover if in decent shape, and the A/C controls bezel if not broken. Thanks!

    RTH on OME lift

Doing a heavy/heavy install this AM. Things going surprisingly smoothly thus far for a first timer (knock on wood). Quick question about shock mounting: Do I reuse the little cup washer that goes on the built plate against the shock bushing? Seems like it should be there, but want to be sure...

    Noob painting questions

Gents, I'm getting to work on the exterior of my '84 FJ60 and need a little assistance. I lucked out and found a nearly rust-free 60 about a year ago, but there are a couple of spots that need some work. I've done some searching, but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. I should...

Oil Pressure Question - RTH Needed

So I replaced the oil sending unit with the one from O'reillys which looks nothing like the OEM unit. Turn the key to On and the gauge goes up to H. Crank the motor and it falls back down below L. Feels like the sending unit to me. Going to order an OEM unit tomorrow.

Oil Pressure Question - RTH Needed

No movement in gauge except for when it first cranks up. Not sure what he used on the oil change, but I know he always uses the same synthetic and has for a while. I did ground the gauge against the block while somebody sat and watched it move the needle sweep up the gauge, so I think that means...

Oil Pressure Question - RTH Needed

Galley plug is definitely still in place. Though I still need to do the fix. Local parts shop has a sending unit in stock for $7. May have to run there and find out.

Oil Pressure Question - RTH Needed

So I left my office this evening after my '84 FJ60 sat in the lot all day and about 3 minutes in to a 5 minute drive, I noticed the oil pressure needle was essentially pinned at the top. I arrived at my destination and the truck sat for about an hour and I came back out and cranked it to find...

    Newb Brake bleed question

I actually stuck it in the finger of a rubber glove (had plenty on hand for the knuckle mess) and zip tied it on there, so it's been pretty well sealed the whole time.

    Newb Brake bleed question

I just finished up a knuckle rebuild on the passenger side of my 60. I disconnected the soft hose at the brake shield. My question is, when I bleed the brakes, do I need to bleed at all four wheels in the correct order, or can I just bleed the one that was disconnected? Know

    Stuck on knuckle...help needed

Thanks for the help. I was able to get it loose enough at the axle to spin it out of the brake shield. Definitely grinding those rivets out and replacing with bolts to make that process easier.

    Stuck on knuckle...help needed

Here is the attachment 6" back. I don't see a c clip or obvious way of detaching here. Is this the spot?

    Stuck on knuckle...help needed

So,I guess this is an intro thread combined with a knuckle rebuild question. I bought this 60 about 8 months ago and love it. Anyway,I'm in the middle of disassembly and stuck on the dust shield and caliper connection. Basically, where is the best place to disconnect the shield so that I can...
