I like to shut off the fuel with the Edic fuel cut off valve, pull all four glow plugs then crank for ~ 20 seconds to purge the diesel. (In a shop it might leave oil stains on the ceiling) then do the psi test.
This would make sense. First cylinder I did was #4 (video is backwards to how I actually tested) and did forget to kill the fuel. Fuel was off for the rest but all back to back so fuel in the cylinders. I will maybe try again to compare.
So I rebuilt my engine (3B, turbo) years ago and have now almost 2000 kms on it, LOL. Did a pressure test this weekend to see where shes at and measure 600-640 PSI on all cylinders. Pressure holds, does not leak down.
