Windshield Washer Fluid Leak (Solved - Caused by Fluid Film)

Are you sure it is Fluid Film? Weird it would burn you as it is meant to be lanolin based. I've never experienced this. Also it isn't meant to convert the rust so any rusty frames are still rusty.

Best Upgrades for Under $100 (200-Series)

Also, any negatives to using the vent clips? I was worried about breaking the vent somehow. sorry, didn't mean to reply to my own post. Consider it a super early and unnecessary "bump"

    Slider Paint Recommendations

I imagine it would be like my rear bumper on my 80. Behind the tires failed after all the chips and Ohio winters. I figured sliders would see the same kind of wear just from daily driving. What do they do for the winter roads in BC? Northeast US is terrible on vehicles.

    Slider Paint Recommendations

Im in Ohio and if your area is anything like mine it wont matter how you finish them. Powder coat will fail and it will need re-done in a couple years anyway. crank the heat in the shop and spray away with anything (it won't matter because you will be doing it again soon enough)...turn off the...

Anyone using LC200 with a family of 5?

Im running a family of 6 no problems. I have a RTT so once the fridge is in the back there is limited storage when taking the entire family. It isn't as convenient as my wife's Sienna for everyday use but they love my truck. Ages 12, 9, 6, & 5 - oldest three are girls and youngest is my boy.

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Applied Fluid Film getting ready for our crummy Ohio road maintenance. I need to see if I can get my UltraGauge to read transmission temps. Thats cool you could do that with the Scan Gauge @mep1811. Ive also been towing some lumber this week so nice to use my new brake controller. Pictured...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Replaced my water pump, thermostat, upper and lower hoses, serpentine belt, tensioner, and radiator. Aside from flushing AHC and fluid changes my first job on my 2010. Had a bad squeal and super obnoxious now that it is cold. Radiator finally cracked at the usual spot and noticed this leak on...

I don't think the limiting factor would be the rails but the roof capacity/load distribution. Meaning even if an aftermarket rack could hold 10x as much it doesn't matter as the factory rails with these crossmembers can far exceed capacity. The limit may even be a center of gravity/safety issue.

I used 1/4" hardware with my FrontRunner accessories (just bought RTT quick mount) and after putting 1,800 miles on it with the 1.6m Stargazer I feel confident it is the answer for me.

I assume the M8 wont fit in the 1020 slot right? Maybe the 1530 or 4590 profile would be better? How rigid is that 1020 on that span? I have a Slimline II but would rather just do this for as much as I use it. Going to put my tent up there. So the same 1/4" hardware you used for the 80/20...
