Scepter 5 Gal MFCs Military Fuel Cans Manufacture Date 1993.

Scepter 5 Gal MFCs. These cans DO NOT have VITON gaskets and will need to be purchased seperately in order to properly store fuel. Most of the cans have never stored diesel fuel and these will be sold in pairs for $100.00 shipped CONUS, the remaining cans have been used to store diesel and will also be sold in pairs for $90.00 shipped CONUS. Again, these have diesel neoprene gaskets and will need VITON gaskets to effectively store fuel. All cans are in great functioning condition with very minor cosmetic blems, these will be a welcomed addition to your expo gear. I do not have spouts or additional components to add to this sale, this sale is for cans only sold "as is" with nothing implied. With that said, ALL cap components, i.e. gaskets, flange, ident straps, 3/4" spouts and complete caps would be TECH- SUPPLY + SERVICES, Military Fuel Cans, Sceptre, Tech Supply. If interested please PM me for details.

Just an example of the condition of these cans after I washed them, can on the left has NOT stored diesel, can on the right has been used to store diesel.

those are pretty slick! gonna talk to the wifey about getting a pair to keep in my ram... luckily my truck is a diesel, so it makes no difference to me if these cans have had diesel in them. are there any online places that sell the seals for these cans that we will need to buy?

Thanks for the response! If you have a need for diesel cans only then go with the pair for $90 and you do not need to change gaskets, that is only for those who are buying these for petrol.
PM me when you are ready to purchase.

3 pair of $90./pr. cans shipped CONUS remaining...

Received some negative interest for the cans used for storing diesel. Let me reassure those who maybe on the fence that these cans are in great condition, I only dropped the price slightly on these to help defray the gasket cost for those using petrol and for minor cosmetic scratches. If you are using the cans for diesel you are ahead with the cost savings, if you will be using these for petrol, pour in a small amount of gas, add a old (clean) shop rag, tighten down the cap, then shake vigorously. I have cleaned several cans in this manner and used them with out issue of any risidual diesel. HTH

How do your remaining cans look in comparison to the ones pictured above in the thread ?

1-pair of used cans pending sale, 3-pair remain...

Van,

Got my cans this evening and couldn't be happier. As far as I can tell these are brand spanking new, won't feel right if I hang these off the cruiser without first washing and waxing her. Thanks again, screaming deal:beer:

Andrew,

Glad it worked out and that you are happy with the cans! 2 pair of "used" remain.

All cans are sold

Thanks to everyone who participated! Safe travels!
