I posted this on IG earlier but felt that it also belonged here.
I had a wonderful weekend meeting people from new places and kicking tires with old friends. We can safely say that the 2018 Carolina Relic Run was a hit. I will post up the rest of the photos from CRR weekend in due time. Also, keep on the lookout for our usual article in Toyota Trails. I really look forward to seeing everyone at the Relic Run next year.

Hello Carolina Relic Run attendees!
For those who are in the Triad area, WGHP Fox 8 will be airing a CRR segment on their 8am news show on Monday 5/7 and again during the 5pm segment of the news. As a Roy's Folks feature we will get 5 minutes of fame. I have requested a digital copy to put on the web site so no one will be left out. I believe this will also be aired in CLT on a Fox station but I could be mistaken.

I was told I couldn't get a digital copy from the TV station so if someone with more computer knowledge than I posses can download the video from the WGHP site, everyone will be able to see it.

I was told you could embed the video from the WGHP web site. I am only semi-literate with computers so I know nothing about how to do this.
They are going to post it on their Facebook feed as well so we should be able to get a link from that.

Thank you ONSC for organizing and pulling off yet another great event! My wife and I had a great time at the CRR this year and it was great to renew acquaintances and visit with friends from last year. The organizers are to be commended for all of their hard work and for making this year's event even better than the last. It was apparent from the kick-off that the feedback provided last year did not fall on deaf ears. There were lots of improvements that helped make this year's event more fun and less stressful for everyone (can you say "catered"). I felt certain that my wife would enjoy the event despite her rather lukewarm interest in "four-wheeling" and the event exceeded both her and my expectations thanks to the family-friendly atmosphere of the event and the wonderful folks who attended. Again this year, I really enjoyed interacting with kids at the event and my wife (ever the 6th grade teacher) could not say enough good things about every one of them she encountered. We're looking forward to the day when our grandkids are old enough to tag along with us to a CRR!
