I Purchased this in July 2020, we’ve taken this OP4 on 20 trips and have enjoyed every single one of them. Most notably our trips to Hermit Island in Phippsburg, Maine have been the most incredible and also our longest without shore power. Here’s the story:
We bought it used in 2017. Used it for a trip to Colorado and a handful of weekend camping trips more local. The camper has not been used as much as we thought we use it. It was going to be our “cheaper” alternative to staying in hotels every weekend for my kids’ travel baseball as well as perfect lightweight camper for family camping trips. Well…it never got used for baseball tournaments and we have used it maybe 5 - 10 times. It’s been set up in the backyard for sleepovers for out youngest kid more than being used...
Trailer is in overall solid condition. It is original and has never been cut up. Even had the original lighting and harness.
Includes a new set of military supplied wheel bearings in the package. Also 2 OEM wheels.
The tires are cracked, but the tubes are holding air. I would not tow it far on the current tires. I towed it about 60 miles with no issues.
Handbrake is not working, I think the brakes need a good cleaning and servicing. There is a couple of smaller holes in the front corner that would need to be patched. Nothing urgent and could be left as is.
Overall a solid straight trailer.

M101 Canadian military trailer (like a US M416) converted for overland or camping trips. Super solid trailer, but easy to tow. Custom steel roof with stainless steel hinge and dual shock struts is easily strong enough to hold a roof top tent or rack. I used to have an ARB tent mounted and it works great. 12v car battery provides LED lighting and powers a water pump that's connected to a 10 gallon water tank. The tank is connected to a spigot on the outside of the trailer and provides good pressure for taking showers or cleaning etc. Interior of the trailer is coated in rhino liner to keep rust away. All the reflectors and safety features are up to date and CA legal.
The hubs have been changed out to accept Toyota bolt pattern ( 6 x 5.5...

For sale is a M416 B1 Variant Military Trailer.
The M416B1 used the smaller 6.00 X 16 tires on M422 wheels because it was designed to be towed by the USMC M422 'Mighty Mite' instead of the M151 that towed the M416's and M416A1's. In addition to the smaller tires, the M416B1 also had lifting rings for airborne operations and jerry can mounts on each side. Approximately 2000 M416B1 trailers were built.
