Already checked stickies.

Have an '04 LX 470, can't get the battery to charge. Appreciate any help.

Battery-checked out will take/hold charge.

Fuses- checked s fuses and both fuses in engine compartment (attached photo with yellow marks at sides of fuses) all good.

Alternator- passed charge check at O'Reilly, even bought a Denso replacement, same thing alternator(s) checks out fine, battery will not charge.

I've checked power at the alternator, its fine. Meaning I have 12v at the black cable/terminal with the 10 mm nut. I can't check for power at the 4 prong cannon plug at the alternator while its running, but I have unplugged the cannon plug and checked continuity front the plug to the connector up by the battery, continuity is good.

I have power at two wires from the fuse box to the alternator at the connector near the battery in the photo I'll attach.
Pretty much run out of ideas why this won't charge.
Again, would appreciate any help on this one.

Maybe try checking the fusible link block, I have seen some of those heavily corroded

Looks like an entirely different design from the fusible link setup on my '01, and aside from brittle plastic that crumbled when I tried disassembling, everything internal looked ok on visual inspection, but changing it out corrected my charging issue. If everything seems ok visually, I'd still see if you could clean any connection points well.

Does anyone have a source for a schematic/troubleshooting guide for an '04 batt/alt circuit? Still can't figure out why the LX will not charge.

Are you getting 13V+ at the alternator charging stud when running?

I'm not getting 13v at the wire that comes from the stud to the positive batterypost, only getting battery voltage. I'm checking it near battery +. Hard to get meter lead to stud down on alternator while its running.
But when I had the alternator out I ran a continuity check on that wire, continuity was good.

Some other things you can check are to make simple checks from the center of a battery post to different points on the primary battery cables. For example center of positive post to the connector that goes around the positive post. Looking to see if you're getting voltage drops/high resistance between those two points. If you get yourself some T Pins and alligator clips, or just get a back probe kit(I believe Harbor Freight sells them) you can back probe your connectors and have it set up so then you can actively see what's going on at those connectors while the engine is running.
