Clutch done. That was the quickest clutch and transmission re install I have ever done! It literally slid right into place with almost no effort! Making studs out of longer bolts with heads cut off is a game changer.

Installed 33s (Geolander AT4s) and hit some mud to test out the Terrain Tamer suspension and the new treads. Most fun I've had in a truck since high school...
Chugging along slowly when I find the time. Inner structure from the front doors up is complete and rust free/primed. Couple small spots left on the passenger and drivers side and will do some body filler work around the windshield areas. New gutters are being made as well and started cutting out patches for the roof skin. We're getting close!

Thanks, it's not so bad once you get started. Just scary at first drilling/cutting into a fairly nice roof.
Yeah, the rear windows were a breeze to take out, front windshield, not so much. I cracked mine taking it out. I'll have a professional install the windshield when the time comes.
Bumpers have got to be the best learn to weld projects!

Took the 60 out on the trails to stretch her legs! I forgot how nice the LS is off-road as well! Spa day between clouds of pollen. It feels good to scrub it clean!

Another FJ62 converted to H55f, new transfer case with 10% overdrive high range, our CruiserMatt’s FJ62 exhaust setup. It’s also getting a new carpet and a new OE dash board.

I love the CruiserMatt's H55F upgrade on my truck and it is a HUGE improvement on performance! It looks like the transmission brace has been upgraded since mine was done a few years ago? Your work is so good, it looks like it just rolled off the Toyota assembly line! I can't wait to install your exhaust kit too!

That exhaust set up is soooo calling my name Mr. Matt. Years ago I ditched the goofy stock routing of the 62 exhaust and got a custom set up that fits inside the frame very similar to yours. Instead of a Y-pipe we used a 2 inlet-1outlet cat as the Y. Now I think the cat is shot and never liked the noise of the Magnaflow muffler, needs a refresh. This is a stock 80-84 crossmember
I fabbed mine but I like your scab plate mount on the inner frame better than what I did. Much cleaner. Looks like there are nuts welded on the backside of the plate?
