I built this to be a fun project that I could use as a Daily and it has been just that. It has seen a few trips to the coast, running 80mph on the interstate. Rust free Southern Truck. Everything works perfectly, no rub, and minimal road noise from the tires. Haven't had time to take it to the trails, so no damage either. Anything it needed, I didn't hesitate to get professionally repaired as I'm a little OCD with my vehicles. Considering selling because I have two vehicles and am at the tipping point on this project. Pick up this SUPER clean project and save yourself some time and money on the big stuff. Locally purchased (Charlotte,NC) owned and Lexus serviced every 5k miles. I purchased stock about a year ago and all mods were...

Hey everyone. Looking for a solid GX
Major requirements:
--No rust
--Under 125K miles
--Solid maintenance history
--No accidents
--2005 or newer
I'm in Phoenix with cash in hand.
Willing to travel to neighboring states if needed.
Thanks!
Looking for a GX470 that's been taken care of. My preference would be to have something under 150k, however I could go higher if the service record is there.
Looking to spend $10k or less, but can be flexible for the right truck.
I'm located in Redwood City, CA, but can travel anywhere in Northern California.
Thanks!
I'm in Oakland, looking for a GX under $12k. (Also looking at LX's, if you're in here with one for some reason). Willing to pick up on the West Coast including out to Utah, up to Portland, down to SD.
I'd prefer something with no nav + KDSS, but open to pretty much all options.
Priority goes to something with good maintenance records over anything else, and would like to keep it around 150k miles or less. Built or not built isn't a big deal.
Looking for a low mileage (under 125k) gx470 with good maintenance records. Located in Albuquerque but willing to travel to neighboring states for the right one. Anyone looking to sell?

Just had it waxed, polished and shampoo'd. Paint has that nice glide when you touch it. Headlight restoration touch up too.
Clean title, no accidents, non-smoker (smells good for age). Great condition. No tears in the leather - conditioned regularly, regular oil changes, Bilstein 5100's front and back December 2016, with Lexus airbags replaced in November 2015. It handles tight around town and comfy on the freeway.
No pets, no kids, no leaks. Water pump, timing belt, pulley, tensioner at 120K. Most exterior bulbs replaced recently. K&N drop in air filter. Have lots of records from myself and previous owners.

Looking to sell my 2003 Lexus GX470. Simply said, if you’ve been looking for something in this price range then this is it. Currently at 198k miles. Lexus service history up to appx. 190k miles. Clean Carfax. Non-nav! Mechanically perfect, zero leaks, zero noises, and zero issues. Paint is excellent and so is the interior. Zero rust anywhere and it runs and drives like new. It’s ready for the next 200k mike worth of adventures and a new owner to get it there.
All of the following have been installed within the last 3 months by a 10 year ASE certified technician and service manager with Toyota dealership experience. No shortcuts. Radiator, axles/boots, and more already replaced at Lexus...
I am listing my 2004 GX470 for sale. I am technically the second owner, however I purchased it from the original owner 200 miles ago. The PO ran the engine out of coolant, and ran the engine until it died. The truck has 142,400 miles on it. The replacement engine has 125k. I replaced the timing belt, and water pump. Replaced the upper and lower radiator hoses. Replaced all exhaust gaskets, manifold studs, and nuts. Drained and filled the transmission due to the overheat. Drained, and filled the transfer case. This GX is immaculate. This is a 3rd row vehicle with the DVD player, and 6 disc changer. If there are any other questions, please feel free to PM me. Asking $9500 OBO.
Selling my 2006 GX470 Sport Non-Nav w/ 102k miles. This is a unicorn KDSS equipped Sport truck with out Nav. It has never seen road salt and has a corrosion free-undercarriage. It was serviced religiously at Lexus until my purchase in 2016.
Truck received a new timing belt, pump and radiator at my local land cruiser specialist Otramm back in Feb - all preventative. I put on 5 Cooper ST Maxx in 255/75-17 - 32” in Feb at 95K miles - the largest size that will fit the stock spare location. Lexus replaced the dash in April. Overall in great shape - leather is excellent, minimal wear in and out.
The VIN is JTJBT20X460107681.
The truck was sold and was garaged in Hawaii through 2016. The dealers in HI don't connect to Lexus Drivers and...
Life currently is requiring us to find a vehicle with a 3rd row for the part-time carpooling, etc that kids require. Currently it seems that GXs are a bit more of a value buy than LC/LX/T4R, but open to those for the right deal.
Mechanically sound, relatively good condition interior, and of course 3rd row required.
Thanks for looking.
2004 Lexus GX470 with 2018 4Runner Rims and Tires less than 2k miles ago. 2nd owner, always garaged and waxed. No rust California vehicle. No rips in the seats with regular leather conditioning to keep them soft, no kids no pets, no leaks and no mechanical issues, new brake pads, rotors and rear suspension airbags 2K miles ago, timing chain at 180k, new black floor mats not in the pictures, New Brake Lights with CLEAR blinkers instead of the orange, K&N drop in air filter, synthetic oil changes, all electrical works, 4x4 works perfectly.
Runs and drives perfect!
Needs nothing!
I removed the stock running boards because they look ridiculous but I have them if you want to put them back on.
Clean Title
Reg good till June 2020
211k miles...
I saw a pricing thread in the 100/200 sections and thought this would be a good reference. I'm seeing a wide range in pricing in the southeast and hoped to see what people have been running into or missed out on. I'm having a hard time gauging what's reasonable because of the amount of aftermarket parts installed on recent listings.
Asking price is one thing, but purchase can be another. Obviously there is a cult following to these driving asking prices but many seem irrational and emotions seem to be taking over some.
If you have recent purchase pricing and are willing to ad some clarity to this madness, please do so!
$16900
2 owner VERY well maintained. Originally from Texas. We have owned this GX since 2014. It has been regularly serviced at Lexus Knoxville and has had consistent fluid changes. Already had the 100k ($$$$) service conducted by Lexus of Knoxville. All documentation available. Very new Michelin LTX tires in OEM size. The only aftermarket upgrades are: weather tech mats, front window tint to match back and HID bulbs in the factory headlights. Non smoker. 2 keys. Can assist in delivery.

There's a dealership near me (Wasatch Front in Utah) that gets most their inventory off the local classifieds. That's not a problem unless you're like me and are looking for a deal on a GX470. They've beat me to two deals now with the most recent one being a really clean 2006 they got to yesterday just minutes before me.
My max budget is $13k (I'd prefer to spend around $10k-$11k)
I'd prefer a light color but beggars can't be choosers
Year doesn't matter
Maintenance history does matter
I'd like under 150k miles but if the price/maintenance history is right I'd go higher.
I know it's kind of a long shot but if you've got a GX to sell and are in the western United States then let me know, I'm in the market and probably will be for...
I bought this from the original owner in January of 2018 in Texas at 205k miles. It's been great for me, I tow it behind my motorhome. It has a Blue Ox baseplate and driveshaft disconnect.
I replaced/repaired the following:
Timing belt at 207k (first one was replaced at 110-ish)
New Tires at 210k
Front seat cover replaced and repaired heater element
Front door 6x9s and rear sub replaced with 8-Ohm speakers - surrounds were shot
Just had the trans flushed - there was some metal debris in the pan but it runs and shifts fine
It's not the prettiest but is mechanically sound. Original owner kept up on maint - mostly at Lexus dealer.
I don't baby it but I do maintain it. Pictures are dirty, I can take more later if need be. I...
Not mine, I recently purchased a 2004, but this is an amazing option for folks looking for a low mileage GX:

Not affiliated, just saw it at the 'carroll gas station' off 40 in Ellicott City MD. Sign said it was a 2004, definitely some bumps and scrapes, noticed a dent in front bumper busted fog light lens. Missing mud flap on passenger side. Otherwise looked pretty clean. I would guess price could be negotiated based on the rough condition. I bet a dealer would offer less $5000-6000. I can follow up w pics and contact info if people want more info. I did not take pictures as I got sidetracked helping a couple jump their car. Just seemed like this is the type of rig I would look for to make a build.
