Have a 2010 LX570 with two bad Tees. Any one have a source for the two Tee pipes at the heater core? I tried to source from Lexus and they said indefinite delay on parts---Can't believe Lexus can not provide parts for these vehicles- Any help would be apricated.

Toyota doesn’t sell those specific parts separately, only as an assembly with the hoses. People have found other parts that are an exact match though.. 87248-08030 is one option.

Thing is, that part number will give you the same part that failed eventually.

In 2013 Toyota upgraded the plastic to a better design that doesn’t seem to degrade the same way. Only available with full assemblies.

More info starting at this post:

I have seen plenty of metal alternatives discussed on the various LC100 forums. From what I have seen the 100 and 200 part of interchangeable.

That being said, and not knowing how many miles you have, replacing it with the plastic OEM part will probably last longer than the vehicle will.

Unless you can match the nipple diameter exactly, metal Ts will require switching to a different style of clamp. When they fit the stock spring clamps are a great design.. much more even clamping than screw clamps and no tendency to tear the rubber hose.

Look at Sequoia at the same year.
87248-08030 is the tee part number.

@bloc Thanks for the great input. Part of my posting was to make aware (to the OP) if you do a little digging, one can find what they are looking for based on how Toyota operates. Seems that he might be new to Toyota and Cruisers, as he joined only last year.

I currently have (4) of these tee's sitting in the garage (bought about 2 yrs ago before seeing these posts) ready for the next time I do a coolant change, which is due once I get back home. I read the other linked post and will probably order the assembly to replace the old hoses and tee's for worry free driving. Actually, I will probably replace all the rubber hoses I didn't replace from the last time i touched the coolant system. (Replaced the rad, thermostat, pump, etc)

Once home I will check the ID marks on the tee's and cross reference them to the new tee's. I'm assuming these are old stock from the parts depot. I haven't found a new part number that has rev'ed up based on my research for this single part number.

My 200 currently has 251K on the original tee's. If I remember, I will post a reply with pics of the condition of the originals.

In the words of CruiserDan: there are no new questions (referencing the 80's section) only new members.

He’s an OG for a reason.

Fair point on OP being new and there being good resources. I have been on this and other forums for a very long time and still have a little impulse to reply “search”.. that has morphed into actually trying to provide the best and most current info directly.

If I remember correctly the bare Ts I ordered didn’t have a material indicator.. but that was too long ago for me to be sure. Someone sourcing the new material in bare parts would be awesome.. I’m afraid Toyotas tendency toward assemblies vs small parts will keep us from finding that. But I have been surprised before.
