Drop in an LS with an 8 speed - not cheap, but nice.

Plugs don’t look bad
Number one cylinder not so good 🤨
Put a concoction of acetone & transmission fluid in there letting it soak then I’m gonna try to see if I can get it to turn over.
I figured I got nothing to lose😉

There have to be good take out FZs available near you for a simple swap
I have one on line that’s why I wanna see where I’m at with this motor before I put my money down

My friend Dan is given me a hand with both of us on that 40 inch breaker bar. We can’t get it to budge.😔

Going to let it sit for a few and try again.

Did you scope the cylinders? That is a lot of mechanical advantage and it didn't move...not hopeful.

Is it a 93 or 94?

Yes they all looked good but #1 post # 9 second picture.
94
Ya but I needed to be sure before proceeding.

Looking at that picture I think the motor is toast
Opinions don’t hold back.
The axle on this are worth what I paid 😉

The truck itself looks pretty clean, how many miles? ( sorry if i missed it )
I'd just yank the motor, if its that locked up. Even if you free it i will probably need a rebuild anyway

Crank bolt came lose won’t move going clock wise.
I sure your right

Well going to move on to plan B
It’s not moving 😔

That's one method for removing the crank bolt...

If it's locked use the axle for whatever project you already had planned and then maybe save the NLA and hard to find parts for yourself and possibly part out or just pass along to another adventures person.

From the limited picture though the body looks clean and it may just be a shame to part out and not save. If you weren't in CA I would say cost out a rebuild versus another engine (gas/diesel) swap.

Did you need the axles for another project, if not swap a used motor into it
