I have a really nice '74 Cruiser. Here is what it has:

This cruiser gets about 14 mpg, which is pretty good for a lift FJ40. Motor runs solid and has a Weber Carb. I have ran this rig in the snow and it does very well. Rig comes with the soft top and hard doors. $5000.

This was not a rust bucket when found so this made for the perfect bases for a restore.
This is an occasionally daily driver and it loves to drive so the miles are not stable to list.
The cost and time in the restore evens out for the trading price plus the cost of the trailer and its restore. I also ask if you are really interested in a trade for this 1980 FJ40 please arrange the time to come look at it and give it a drive if possible. Pictures are good but don’t show all...

He picked this up in florida a couple years ago the body is beautiful,he soda blasted and painted the inside of the tub, the exterior is original toyota paint.
it's got all new brakes (shoes,drums,wheel cylinders),all new tie rod ends,e-brake,starter,alternator,battery,wiper motors rebuilt,wether stripping(except for the piece that goes between the roof and windshield frame couldn't find that one). It's a 3 speed with a ranger overdrvie unit, runs and drive great.
The winch in the pisture is not there anymore cause i bought it(sorry) and it has 31-10.5's that are in nice shape

Great shape, estimate about 85% complete (needs several little cosmetic things, and a few minor parts). New paint, 3 of the seats recently recovered. Little to no rust, overall in great shape. Also includes a Warn 8274 (worked last time I tried it), and a new plate bumper for the front that winch will mount in to. Have mirrors, they just are not on it, along w/ rear fenders. Tires are about 80%, includes rear tire carrier. Installed electronic ignition, new water pump, battery, and alternator. All wheels cylinders and bearing are new. Runs good, carb needs adjusting/cleaning. Also have another factory engine block that will be included in the sale, along w/ a couple boxes of misc parts to finish her up. All the lights work as well...

First post on this site but I've been following for YEARS! This place is invaluable if you own a land cruiser. I'll fix this up a bit and edit however I wanted you all to know about it first.
I'm selling my FANTASTIC 1978 FJ 40 with 30350 miles. Very low rust and you can find my listing on craigs list in Cincinnati.
Asking $10,000 but am negotiable. Everything works and runs very well. It's got almost new BFG 33's and brand new battery. Everything is original except the sun roof which isn't the nicest and it has a small chunk of drivers seat missing (2inches by 4 inches). I bought it from someone who trucked it out from a California barn and it has VERY low rust for such an old cruiser. It's got headers on it, but other than...
1976 Toyota FJ40 w/ 1979 Buick 231 V6 as motor. I bought it as a restoration project, but am moving to Phoenix. VERY good body. Needs fuses (glass tube kind). I would recommend getting a rewire. The wiring works, but is old. A Painless rewire kit can be purchased at COOLCRUISERS.COM - Toyota Land Cruiser Parts & Restoration for $350. That's the best deal I found for a Painless and is what I was going to buy before knowing about the move. The motor runs well, so it can be driven as is. I've had a new clutch put in that will work with original F2 motors (using an adapter plate for the Buick V6). Front windshield is badly cracked. I have a replacement that I will include.

Not my FJ40, but went and checked it out. Seems like a pretty decent deal. Floor board rust driver side and rust driver side rear quarter panel. Drives great. Pretty sound. Seller willing to wheel and deal.

Up for sale is my 76 fj40 with a little over 71,000 original miles on it. It has one owner on the title. If you have a aluminum body or a good tub this truck would be perfect for it. 1972 FJ40 - $2,850 OBO
The good:
It's mostly stock.
The body and frame are solid overall. This truck spent all of its road years in the deep south.
It would be a great start for someone wanting to build a clean 40.
The bad:
It has a scrape down the driver's side(see pics).
The ugly:
This is a non-runner. The F spit out a rod bearing before I aquired it.
The driver's side front floor needs to be replaced. It's the only spot on the body with signifcant rust through.
I got this truck with the intention of cleaning it up, but I've got too many cruisers, and they all want money. I'm hoping somebody can take the reins on this one and turn...
