'77 FJ 45 Landcruiser Pickup $13,995 cdn.

A basically unmolested, daily driver, Canadian edition--left hand drive. Solid body, strong 2F 6cyl. 4 spd., 86,000 miles. New Emu suspension, Yokohama tires, battery, brakes, rebuilt knuckles with front disc conversion. Unsused factory Warn 8274 winch. Some extras.
The condition of this truck overall is excellent but it's not perfect: some rust in rear frame, perforation rust on top of left front fender, box has been fibreglassed inside, backyard repaint, noisy cab mount, needs muffler and tailpipe.
This truck is a good, solid example of a rare Toyota 4x4. It has been lightly used and has never had a frame off restoration because it doesn't need one. The cab, engine compartment and interior are all in excellent original condition and the box is solid as is the drivetrain. I'm the third owner.
If you're looking for a prissified ashphalt queen or a booted up, wide tired rock crawler, this isn't it (although it would be a good starting point for either). But if you want a reliable, real truck with tons of character that you can drive pretty well anywhere or if you've lusted after a "45" but have never seen a decent example for sale this might be the truck you've been waiting for.
I'm reluctant to sell my FJ45 but divorce has forced a lifestyle change. The truck is located in Powell River, B.C. where I will be April 9-19. It will be available for viewing then or I can send additional pictures at that time.
Dreamers, schemers and poor wannabes please don't waste my time. If you're serious about owning a true classic call me at 604 223 0039 or email rmlaneo@yahoo.ca. The price is firm but worth it. Extras include: spare front diff, 4 spd./transfer case, manuals, alt., starter, doors, original headache rack, soft top. See Craigslist, Vancouver, B.C. for pics or email me and I'll send some.

"The price is firm but worth it"...........please post price per Classified Rules. Good luck with your sale.

How come all the bad ass cruisers are in B.C.? Is it the geography forced people to buy them there? Any reason? Was a port more prevalent to bring them in on the west? Thing is so nice!

I just contacted him, he wants $13,995.

This truck is the reason I got into Landcruisers, the Vice Principal at my Junior High used to own this truck. When I turned 16 I bought my FJ40. we would talk landcruisers every time I got sent to his office :).

Powell River is 2 ferries and 5 hours north of Vancouver BC. A bit of a trek, but really nice country.

Less salt on the roads in BC than the rest of Canada. In places like Alberta they salt the roads until they turn white again.
