For sale 83 BJ42, bought in Vancouver and shipped to TN. Runs good but blows smoke and needs extensive body work. Is not registered in the US so will need to sell as a parts vehicle. Powersteering needs work, gearbox leaks and the pump is locked up, but it is all there and factory. Interior in good shape considering, jumpseats and mats in good condition. Has a 24 volt winch, aftermarket I believe but very professional install, I think it is at least a dealer install or Toyota Canada installed when imported. It was working but will not now but I assume a simple fix. Top and doors are rough but it is all there. I had big plans for this truck but kids and a house sure can change plans. Would like $4600 for the truck. I have a 79...

1984 BJ42 3B diesel, 5spd H55, power steering, power disc brakes. Factory winter kit with block heater, rad shroud and rear heater. Factory stock except for upgraded suspension with greasable shackles.
Original Tan paint from Victoria BC to Calgary last year where engine was completely rebuilt with a new Toyota head, pistons, sleeves, reground cam, new bearings the lot. All new brakes, old man emu suspension, 24V factory winch. New clutch etc.
I drove the truck to southern Ontario last summer and it has been used lightly since and stored during the winter.
There is some rust on the body but the frame is perfect. It has never seen an eastern witner on the road and is ready to use now. Good condition BFG 33's on steel rims...
Since I only drive it once a month if I am lucky. I am curious to see what it is worth since I honestly don't have a clue how much to put it up for.
Ultra RARE..1983 BJ42 5 Speed had 255k kms on it when I got it now has 901k kms on it (Stays there now). something went screwy with the odemeter. Runs great, burns no oil, 2 new batteries, Warn 8274 winch, Gozzard fenders, add a leaf suspension, 33x9x5 bf's AT, Kaylyne Softtop and various peices for it. Quarter panel flares, New steel floor and quarter panels on the rear of the tub. Front of the tub needs some love. Pick Up only. South western ontario.

I was one of the first to import cars out of japan (which i've been out of for abotu 2 years now) and have struck a new relationship with a company in Austrailia to bring these fine vehicles into Canada. I will be bringing troop 45's and 74's as well as 74 pickups.
This unit HAS TRAVELLED 310,000 KLMS BUT HAS BEEN IMPECABLY LOOKED AFTER AND MAINTAINED BY A ELDERLY MAN MOST ITS LIFE.
THERE IS A WHOLE BAG OF RECEIPTS WITH THE VEHICLE(around 60) COVERING PARTS THAT HAVE BEEN REPLACED AND SERVICES,ALOT OF RECEIPTS FOR FUEL AND OIL FILTERS WHICH IS ALLWAYS GREAT TO SEE.
WE HAVE DRIVEN AROUND A 1000KLMS IN IT,CHECKED THE OIL BEFORE AND AFTER AND NO CHANGE IN THE LEVEL,IN 40C...

Details: 1963 FJ45L This is the short wheel base pickup. I will have even newer photos up this week, but these were taken recently. NOT PICTURED: I have fixed the driver side of the box by welding in the drill holes for the ladder mount they had mounted. I have fixed the front passenger brakes. I have fixed the speedometer going crazy issue (the needle bobbled), and I have fixed the front window vent. Replaced bib lights, tail lights, hood ornament, and a few other goodies with OEM.

Well guys......just got laid-off....I have to sell my baby.
This Cruiser has front Disc Brakes and drives extremely well. All running gear works fine, excellent shocks and Brakes. The tires are the White Spoked barn wheels (Khumo 33 x 12.50 15). Although it does not have power steering, it runs very light on the road and is very quite sounding. As you can see by the photos, This Cruiser is in beautiful condition.
The Cruiser also has a X9 Super Winch (9000 pulling capacity). It is fitted with a Snorkel and also has been fitted with a set of Old Man Emu Shocks. It has done around 162,000 km's and vehicle is in very good condition for its age.
