Total longshot but thought I'd post this up for trade. Love this hot rod but also love FJ40's and have the itch.

1929 Ford Model A Hot rod

1929 Model A Body and bed
34 Chevy truck frame
1948 Flathead 8
1950's School bus seat

Run s and drives great. Runs quiet. Converted to 12 volt. gets tons of attention.

Looking to trade for a stock-ish$10k+ Fj40 cruiser.

PM me with questions.

Bump with new pics. New rear tires, painted the rims, new alternator, new starter, detailed the engine, painted the bumpers etc

Local resto shop valued it at $11.5k. looking for trades

Cali would be a tough trade distance. Would be fun to drive the 29 out there though!!

Just checked out your 73. looks pretty clean!

Yes retry much rust free. She has a tad surface rust on floor. But was well taken care of and was kept in a garage by previous owner. No PO hack jobs. It has a 20
gallon rear tank, that I have never figured out how to use...lol. I also would love the drive. She cruises all day a 70 mph turning 2700 rpm. First gear is so bloody tall on the 3 speeds. If it was an auto. I would keep it. It was impressive during winter.

I've ridden in the hot rod and have purchased a truck and parts off John in the past. He is a good guy and I'd vouch for him.

I would so live to trade. I am not worried about me not liking the Ford. I just would hate for him being disappointed with my Fj40. She is a very clean rig. Just wish closer. Would be a done deal. I currently own a 1935 Plymouth would live another old classic vehicle to add to my fleet of toys.

cool. it is a long distance though. call me when you get back from your travels!

^^^^^Copper and I have spoken a couple times, just haven't been on MUD to update stuff. I think the distance would be the killer on a trade deal. 4000 miles is a bit much to risk disappointment on either side on a trade I think.

Still searching. Would love an FJ55 or a 40. Partial trades considered or mine plus cash.
