Went camping with my son Andrew and my good buddy Ian from Westbank this weekend at Brenda Lake, which is at about 5300ft elevation near the Pennask Summit just south of the Coquihalla Connector. Sunny, but windy and COLD!!

Brenda lake has four Forest Service Camp sites that are free. It's a real nice spot and we had the whole lake to ourselves, except for a handful of visits from day-tripper fishermen. Plan to do a lot more exploring up there maybe come spring.

What better weekend than a little fishin', a little campin', and a little wheelin'!:):):)

Cheers,

Nice pics Rob

We used to do a lot fishing off the connector when I lived in Kelowna. There are lots of nice lakes up there, just not sure how much exploring there is. It's a short season when your exploring lakes at 5,000'.

Nice Rob. I was up near Roche on the long weekend, yup it's getting cold up that way.

I'm going to Face Lake near Logan Lake in two weeks for some fishing. I'll be bringing the long john's for sure.

I love the interior for wheelin, campin and fishin' (not necessarily in that order either)

Nice pics, especially the one from camp. Don't see too many alum car toppers on 40s.

It's a rather ingenious design, I thought. Here's what the back looks like. No kids yet, Ian has time for toys....
