"Copper State Cruisers" IS A CLUB!

Membership and BOD yet to be organized. An initial draft of rules and bylaws will be drafted shortly. Until someone else joins the club and overthrows my ass I am acting President.

Members only? Hell we pickup strays along the trail to wheel with! Wheel with discos and heeps, last time even let a lexi in! :eek:
 
Yes Woody, Copper State Cruisers forum would be sufficient.

Copper State Cruisers it is. My intitial post was in haste. I'll cahnge it in a second.

Club is members only runs are not (yet). I would like to leave room for good judgement on this one (more later).

Club is all Toyota 4x4 owners and wannabees

All this stuff will be covered in the Constitution and bylaws. Give me some time and I'll get them cleaned up a little for an official posting. I have a very rough draft started and we'll get them cleaned up before you know it.
 
Also, I will start the research to find out what it will cost to become a real NFP organization and what-not.
As of right now this is a loosely knit club of friends who all enjoy Toyotas.

If we ask Kyle real nice he maybe draged into it, something like, dude it's your job get on it. He hosts, designed and made the www.trailertrashaerospace.com site. Is there a logo?

I told Rush and sledge that I had a feeling I was going to be forced to be the first prez. Ducked that one. :)
I'll step up as VP and help write out bylaws.

As far as the website is concerned, I own the domain name for the near term. It's hosted on
a friend's server at a bankrupt ISP in Boston. Lots of space and bandwidth, limnited survival
time.
I asked for volunteers with webskillz(tm) to do up a site. No one stepped up, so my limited
skillz were put to use coming up with a framework.

BMAN- my spam trap blocked your email. Good thing I check it weekly. :D

wingnut has volunteered his serverspace and BW to the cause. I just need to remember to get with him and move everything over. Hint hint. :D

He also mentioned that we could set up our own forum on his site, and leave this one here
as a recruiting tool.

Logo: Rhino's design should be good for a sticker and tshirt. Then we can come up with an
official logo to go on all other club stuff. Maybe desertdude will offer his skills again.

From the beginning, when it was 3fj40, myself and one or two others tossing this idea
about, we wanted to be open to all Toyota 4x4s. And also allow other makes to join us on
our runs. Sorta spreading the gospel, as it were. And we wanted it to be statewide. And
above all, fun and apolitical.

And finally, I submit that anyone who has been active on this board in the last few months should be named "Founding Members", with all the privelages and honors enjoyed by such title. Do I have a second? :D

couple of my thoughts,,, i think trail runs should remain open for all except maybe a few special ones, like the style that DD did in sedona,,, music, grub, members only to meet and discuss things in an outdoor setting.

as far as my logo goes i dont need a vote. i am going to get some stickers and shirts made up, if the "club" wants them we can work that out with a treasury?, otherwise i'll sell them to clubmembers that want them.

also i think we all agreed on one of DD's designs for an official club logo.

p.s. where has 3FJ40 been??
 
I know a very good vinyl cutter that is also very cheep to cut some stickies.

Anywhere to veiw the logos? Post em up so we can vote or the prez can just decide?

And I second the "Club is members only runs are not (yet). " It should take a Toyota 4x4 to be a voting member, but anyone can come out and play. If we ever progress to TLCA runs, than yep, there will be restrictions.

And how come when I looked at the old "look what we got" forum I couldn't see the logo's?? Just wanting to add my opinion to the logo!!

I thought for sure that you were going to step up earlier. I went back and looked at some of the threads and decided that it was time for someone to do it. I started drafting some bylaws loosley based on those set forth by the TLCA but not limiting ourselves yet to their strict standards. I also have drafted a brief "Founding Members" list. Once Kyle gets off his ass and gets the site up, I will have him post up the names that I've come up with and the 1st draft of bylaws that John and I come up with. We will leave them up for a pre-determined time to be discussed and ammended until we have something that the "Founders" generally agree on. Sound good so far?
