Just installed by new (used) Aussie Locker in my LX. Install took just over 3 hours from jack stands to jack stands.

First impressions:

  • Install - very easy any dumb monkey like me can do it
  • Driving on road - cannot tell its there unless I roll down the window and drive around in circles very slow. Only time I notice is if I am driving my LX like a BMW. Then she exhibits a bit of the tail wanting to stick up a little. Drove in the rain and does not make any difference. Sharp turn, lots of gas, little gas. Still Handles like a cruiser.
  • Driving off-road - this is where you notice it. With my stock MS tires I was not able to get up this incline in the ocala national forest a couple of months ago. Now she climbs up with out any hesitation. Doing doughnuts is just plain fun with this thing. Now I have to get my BFG/KM2's going with 315's!!!
  • Would I buy again??? - HECK YES. You all have to get off the fence and get one. Very pleased!!!
Here are some pics from by being a very dumb monkey adventure in Ocala this last Sunday. The Dog and little muchken liked driving around with the windows down and going up the hills (Florida Hills) :flipoff2:

Congrats, i loved mine lock right (same as aussie) but I love e-lockers more

Were do you buy the locker?

purchased used from the PO here on mud with 16k on it. These things are tough as nails. Could not see any scratchs or wear marks on the locker at all. Looked just like new.

Here are a couple of pics from my iphone. not the best quality but should help give an idea of the quality.

Thanks for the info. I think I will order mine tomorrow :D !!!
Does any one know where I can get them at good price?

Have ARB's, but do have a similar Hula Girl! Gotta love how the 3M tape holds her off-road. Perhaps there needs to be a dashboard hula girl / bobble-head thread. ;)
