Congrats and welcome to the club!

I love mine as well. It does make a little noise and i get some looks in a parking lot :hillbilly:

Offroad, it's great.

See if you get similar results in yours....... you will need the pin7 mod done.

Try to crawl up something with the CDL OFF and see if the rear locks up. THen try the same thing with the CDL ON and see if it locks the rear up.

Just guessing, but seems to me all the power would go to one front wheel- and you'd be sliding down the hill backwards, tasting your underwear in the back of your throat.

I don't know why anyone would bother wheeling with the CDL unlocked, seems a great way to lose control and hurt yourself to me. :meh:

I have the CDL with Pin 7 mod. I did try the climb with and without the CDL locked and it made a hude difference. So yes you need the CDL.

Mine is not noise at all in the parking lot. To hear it I must have all 4 windows down and cranking the wheel to full lock and moving to hear a slight ratcheting sound. So no weird looks coming my way asside from the ones regarding why my drug is covered in mud! :hillbilly:

So did you only do the front? Not the rear? Wouldn't you do the rear if you were only going to do one locker?

Thanks, fellers!

I've always wanted a hula girl or one of those head bobbing guys on my dash. :hillbilly:

The bobble head turtles from Baja, MX are pretty cool too. I might have to pick some up when I go down to Ensenada in a couple of weeks.

Nope only installed in the rear.

For the front you need to go with a selectable locker if you want to be able to turn and not kill your drive train. Or go with a P/T 4wd which is not really possible on the 93+ LC's IIRC.

I guess i should clarify and state, that what i meant really was to try to cross a small ditch diagonally so that opposite front/rear tires can spin..... try that with the CDL locked vs. unlocked.
