Rear Shock Adapter Extender

Was looking through a build up thread on an x-link / cranky link on 4wdmonthly.com and saw these rear shock adapters / extenders.

This is what I was planning on doing to mine, and since I bought a body lift, it makes even more sense to do, get some really long shocks in there.

I know shock adapters comes up once in a while, though this might be of use to someone else.

i used some BDS shock pin to eye adapters. worked great, install was a breeze. i like the raised adapter though...looks like it might fit without the need of a body lift? or does that pic have abody lift installed already? from what i remember..theres quite a bit of room up there.

I've been wanting to do a X-Link as well. I already have the plan for it, but just need to find someone to weld 1/2" steel.

If that's Crankycruiser, he has a 2" body lift.
