I have done some work (not as much as dtt255) and thought I would share. Here are before and after pics.

My goal with the lift was improved ride, and enough lift to level the rig out. I basically put a level on the running board until I got it adjusted.

Work done to date:
Tinted rear windows
Third row delete
K&N air filter
TRD 17" rims
33" BFG Ats
Radflo remote resevoir coilovers
Total Chaos upper control arms

On the way:
Engel fridge
Rasta full underbody skid plates

Coming up:
ARB 3/4 roof rack
Rear Suspension - OME Heavy Springs and Bilstein Shox

Thinking about:
ARB Sahara Bumper with winch
Some rear bumper with tire & gas can carrier
Lights...everywhere
Sliders

The ultimate goal is to build a family worthy expedition rig, but keep it light, that is why I am only thinking about Sliders and bumpers at this point. Not sure I want to sacrifice that weight for what could be load and luggage weight. Oh yeah, I wanna make it look a little less Highlanderish :p.

Unless you don't mind driving your rig with scuffed plastic bumpers from all the harsh stuff.. I'm still driving around my 4Runner with a dinged up aluminum Sport ed front skid plate and scuffs on my bumper. My factory skid plates tell a scary story lol. The tow hitch saves my 4Runners ass from offroad carnage.

I say grab the ARB bumper. 200s look kick ass withem.

Very nice...like looking in a mirror!

I got my Rasta Skid Plates today. I am going to break them out tonight or tomorrow and take some pics. Going to put them on next week.

Lookin good Chimyz.

great start, its nice to start seeing people fix up their 200s, looks great, very nonhighlanderish:cheers:

Gosh, I guess I need to start a before and after thread also now ;p

LOL...it is...that is what my wife drives, she loves it. I've had it off road a couple of times, great little rig. The LC does clear things that it struggles with. We have been lucky with no problems. Once the warranty is up, she wants a 4dr Rubicon.

Another newbie question ... why would the front be lower than the back? Has it got something to do with aerodynamics?

Have you noticed any difference in the driving behavior on-road from the lift?

Thanks for posting pics of 200 with the TRD rims. Now I know just how awesome they look on the 200. I can't believe they but so much effort into off road capability and ruin it with big rims, ie 20's on the LX570.

Thanks.

Not so sure I understood why they put 18" on the LC (20" on the LX really blew me). I looked around, and there are a couple of options for rims, but very little for tires in 18". I noticed that other countries were getting 17" rims on the LC, and asked TRD if these would fit (at that time they were not one of the offered rims for the LC - only Tundra).

I decided to pull the trigger, and couldn't be happier with the look...they are super light too.

The best thing about them, is that the grey rim, matches the grey grill, and the polished beadlock, matches the fake chrome grill surround.

Looks great, but white letters out...

chimyz,

Do you have the exact part number of those rims? I like them alot :)

Is it this:

ptr45-34070

I wonder if my 18" Nittos would fit on them....I would hate to have to buy new tires also.

That's the part number, but your 18" Nittos won't fit, they are a 17" rim.

I don't know, I have heard of 18" tires fitting a 17" rim.....haven't I?
