I'm hoping to have new custom rear springs made and the only specs the shop can get are for a 2004... Thanks for any help.

ask CDan...

I wouldnt count on it, if like the 80 series which had a different part # for almost every year......

I would guess 2000 and 2004 would be close......but might have different spring rates....

why not use the specs from a set of OME springs?

Just checked...

The actual part #s for the rear springs MAY be the same from 98-2006 (48231-6A690 LH and 48231-6A680 RH) The interesting thing is...there is a height CHOICE on the springs for 98-2002 models (492 or 504 mm LH and 486 or 498 mm RH)...BUT the taller of the two springs exclusively fit all 2003-2006 models (`06 without AHC, which is new for 2006)

Hope this helps ?.... :)

Thanks for the info!!! most helpful.

Does that mean, that stock coils are longer than OME 866? (In fact: longer than almost any OME spring?)
Of course the spring rate is different. How much lift is to be expected from individual OME coils?

Regards
