Can anyone tell me what these blank switch cut outs are for? I can assume a couple for lockers, one for lights. What else?

On the last picture, the two on the top are for the optional power rear flipout windows so many of our cruisers here have. I think the one below that to the left is to disable the roll sensing curtain airbags for offroading.

Top Photo:

Black cutouts under hazard light button:
Top cutout is for power antenna
Bottom cutout is for center diff. lock

Under AC/Heater controls:
Left cutout: rear window defrost
2nd cutout: I don't know
3rd cutout: rear air conditioning
4th cutout: defrost side mirrors

Where is this crusier? The one showing the 5 speed gear shift is missing the center diff lock button.

The big square under the sub tank is for the rear (and possible front) diff lock control switch.

Whoa! Where was this taken? 46 degrees Celsius? That's like 115 degrees F. !!

Yeah, this is not a NAS vehicle, it must be from Australia or the Middle East or somewhere. In which case, those blanks could be for a lot of things we don't get here, like rear foglamps, winch control, etc. Who knows? Is this yours? And if so, are you really in El Paso? ;)

His link has LC pics form his travels. Looks like Kurdistan is possibly where the referenced Cruiser is from? If so, the buttons may be for the lesser known machine-gun-in-the-grill package. That option never made it to the states....

That is a super stripped down base model. 2003+ updated dash, but with no NAV, no power antenna, no Roll sensing side curtain airbags, manual transmission, etc. I would actually love that setup, minus the manual 5-speed.

looks like the dash from a 105; which in addition to the solid front axle, is also stripped of all 'luxury' gear.

As far as you know ....
