Got the truck back from Slee with the OME lift and 90k maintenance done.
Put on the step sliders and new mud tires today.

The tires were rubbing a little on the front bumper, so I trimmed it a little bit (as you can see in the after pic).
I won't know how much more they rub until I take it off-road. At full turn they don't touch anything so far.

Since I bought it two weeks ago:
-Husky floor mats (all)
-Tint front windows
-90K maintenance
-OME Lift + diff drop
-Toyo Open Country MT 285/75R18 tires (35.1" x11.6")

I don't think I can get away with any more mods for awhile unless I really charm the wife :p

Looks great! Thanks for the pics.

wow that looks good!!

I think I like the before better! Kidding! That looks sweet! Can't wait to see it around, I am just in Parker. Nice to have Slee 30 minutes away! That's one of my favorite colors as well.

Looks great! And the sun even poked through for the 'right' photo! And you are running my favorite wheel/tire combo. Are you running front wheel spacers for UCA clearance with the M/T's?

That's hot!

Time to lose that rear spoiler thingy and you'll be all set!

No wheel spacers and no rubbing on the UCAs.
These are pretty skinny tires.

Here's a front shot :

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that Slee Off Road is so close.
I think it makes it easier to spend money!

Next up is probably a rear entertainment system (DVD headrests) - gotta keep the kids happy!
Then gears and lockers.
Then that sweet rear bumper Slee is working on - I like the dual swingouts with the ladder and the ability to hook jerry cans on it.
Then probably a front bumper + winch.
And somewhere in there possibly a roof top tent... not sure on that yet since the kids are too young.

Oh and removing the ugly rear spoiler! :D

The rear spoiler may be ugly but it definitely works when on dusty trails/roads keeping the rear window relatively clean and dust free. Just a FWIW.

Please post a close up of the bumper / trim work

Thanks

damn. that is NICE.

Sweet! I would keep the rear spoiler.

I agree. Keep the rear spoiler - it works. Keeps dust and moisture off your rear window.

I removed my rear spoiler once. Took about 2 seconds.

Backing into a garage.

Since it was obviously meant to be I said "screw it". Removed the remnants and filled the holes. It looked naked though and my rear window got a lot more dust & snow on it.

Bought a replacement and put it back to normal.

WOW that's a nice 100! That color, sitting on the those big Toyo MTs...nice nice nice.

How do the Toyo MTs ride on pavement? How much difference from the stockers that came off? I'm doing tires in the next year and I am really torn about which way to go...

Also, have you noticed a big power drop with the bigger tires?

Seriously? Is that one of it's purposes? Wow...glad it's on there!

That's the only purpose AFAIK. Don't you remember the station wagons from the 60's, 70's & 80's that had a similar rear "spoiler"? It was intended to route air down the near vertical window helping to keep it dust free.

It also gives me a hand hold when I need to stand on the rear bumper to reach the roof ;-)
