Just had a Slee rear bar and wheel carrier fitted to my cruiser, it looks great the departure angle, locking and construction is a vast improvement on my old ARB.
But my wheel sits to the left of centre by about 2 inches which now I have noticed, it is a bit annoying. The pics on Slees' web site look dead centre is there a reason for this variation ???

Are you saying your axle is off center when looking at it from the rear? If so, it is because your 100 is lifted. You'll need an adjustable panhard rod to center the axle. Some people prefer to drop the panhard mount. If your axle is indeed 2" over, then you probably have a lot of lift in the rear.

No not the axle, the tire carrier on the back is not centred over the tow bar receiver its to the left 1-2 inches.

wish i could help you but i cant. maybe its the way its designed by the way, how much was the shipping on that bumper from slee to au?

Wow, you're going to have me staring at my spare tire carrier tomorrow morning trying to decide whether it is off center or not! Maybe a picture is in order here.

They are all off center....or at least I tell myself that when I look at mine.

This pic from Slees' web site looks dead centre to me

Wow I need to put my drink down and go to sleep.....totally thought you were talking about the OEM location.

Hmm, I wonder why yours is off, change in design?

Just took these in fading light.

see the Toyota logo through the wheel.

looks like center to me

Aaahhh! WHy don't you ask Slee? That's what I would do but I am known for "thinking outside the box" ;)

P.S. How much to ship the rear bumper to OZ?

I noticed the same thing on the Slee bumper on a 100 series in the for sale section and thought it was just the pic angle, now I'm thinking it's a flaw.

If you're talking about my slee rear.. It's perfectly centered. The picture was taken at a slight angle so it might look off... but it's not.

I would have to check that latest batch, but it has always been designed to be in the center, and no changes was done. It should be centered, or as close to it as we can get it for practical purposes. Are you sure your body is square on the frame. How are the caps on both side of the wings.

If you look at the receiver, you can see the receiver is in the middle of the truck (has to be due to the location of the bolt holes in the frame), and from the pic it looks like the tire is straight above it. Are you sure the symbol is centered?

Glad to see it made it there without incident.

Both pics above have the appearance of the tire being slightly off center to the drivers side (left side) to me. Using the receiver as the center my wheel sits about 3/4"-1" or so to the drivers side/left side viewing from the rear.

Is your head tilted??

I put a tape on it this morning, wings to body both sides are the same all gaps are very square and consistent, the symbol is centered.
Yes it arrived and was installed with out a problem, a very awkward object to ship.

Mine sits to the left 40mm (sorry we have the metric system here and tapes no longer have imperial that’s about 1 ¾”). Perhaps we can say its “optically centred” now that I have the HIlift in there it looks more balanced. As we drive on the wrong side of the road over here it will help to offset my weight.:)

Yeah, sorry to not be specific. The bumper looks perfect but the tire itself looks to sit ~1" towards the drivers side, not to take away from you're rig at all. Sweet truck, btw. That's exactly what i hope mine grows up to be like! Very fair price as well!

With the complexity of the design. I'd say that's pretty frick'n close...
