post xmas bump for an awesome rig. Offers?

Great looking truck, a little help, chrome door hinges and spray painted wagon wheels are a tuff sell on a 10k rig, let alone 20k....

Those couple changes will help your sale.

Fwi- stainless hinges, own the oem factory rims, along with new oem hubcaps. Not to mention the wagon wheels are powdercoated.
:flipoff2:

Read the info along with the siglines:meh:

along with o.b.o. I like the look, but please read and do your research.

I read the rebuild process twice today.

Buy it and swap em.

I like the idea of having a truck from my birth year, this one looks nice.

Thanks. I have way more into it than you could imagine... Just like everyone else...

Hey Scott... Looks great! I PM'd with some questions. I bought my first FJ40 (1978) in '86 and looking to get back into them.

Thanks...Chris

Bump for a real sweet truck. Hate to see you sell it Scott.

I am still trying to acquire that '71 hilux. Uber rare truck. I may just have to drive to ND and make him an offer he can't refuse.

Chris- got your pm. I did not reply as to your "new" status. Seemed a little spamy to me. Anyway to answer- You need to get a smog pump. Sold mine during the resto.I have the charcoal cannister, computer and all hard lines to connect those (firewall one etc.). Would I drive to to CO. Maybe, but I would not recommend it. It should fit in your garage. It barely fits in mine due to the apron(concrete). Body has a few nicks from reassembly, but I have the paint. No bondo. New ipor half tub, oem fenders, running boards and hood. All oem and I am pretty sure you can't get fenders or hoods anymore.

Body is straight as can be. A small gap where drivers door closes
mileage is original. Bought the truck from an 82 yr. old man(original owner) with 49k on it.
Far as I am concerned, I have seen ebay trucks go for alot more with alot less(bits and pieces, etc.) Hope this helps.
Scott
