I am proud to present to you your new Yankee Toys Board of Directors! Thank you to all who have stepped up and I know I speak for everyone when I say how I'm excited I am for the coming year.

President:

Since none of the new Board positions are contested, an immediate vote is unnecessary. We'll need to officially vote and swear in the new folks at spring meeting.

I've exchanged some emails with other members about being a second NEA Delegate and the Trails Director. I will turn that information over to Bob & Crew to follow up on so they can find the right folks to fill those positions. If you are interested in filling one of the open posts, please contact your new President with questions. :)

Thanks Dave, Lane and all the rest of YT's previous Board of Directors. I would like to thank you for your service to the club over the many years. Speaking with many of our members over the past few days, it's evident that you put forth quite a bit of work to bring the club to where it is now. It's clear we have big shoes to fill but you can be sure we will certainly do our best.
In the recent conversations that I have had with our new leadership, I feel quite confident and excited looking forward to the club's future. We have new ideas and a new energy to pick this club up and to continue to move it forward.
Theres work to be done here and it does not get done by itself. There are NEA meetings to attend, networking to be done,membership numbers to grow, trail rides to plan,venues to check out for the spring meeting and planning for our quickly growing fall gathering.
What makes a club successful is it's level of communication and dedication by it's leadership, and the level of participation from it's members.
If you are able to volunteer your time to any of the open positions we have available please contact us.
If you are willing to volunteer time but you are unable to commit to one of our open positions, please feel free to contact either myself or Scott and I'm sure we can find something for you to do that will help this club to continue to move forward.

Thanks Bob and guys for stepping up! Two more to fill. Talk to your new prez, these can be as laid back as you guys are comfortable with, but it's important to fill these positions. Sign of a healthy club. :)

Just an update on your 2011 Yankee Toys BOD, Sheri Jones Becker has decided to step up and fill our open secretary and events coordinator positions. Thank you Sheri!
This year is well on it's way to being a fantastic year!
 
We had a GREAT meeting yesterday in Masshua handing off information, ideas, and materials from the old BOD to the new.

I am REALLY EXCITED about the future of our club... it is in good hands, that's for sure. :)
