Yellowknife Pre-Run

Still trying to set a firm date on a trip from Fort McMurray to Yellowknife. Looking like it will be close to the 3rd week of March. The trip will be all roads, that of which will be almost 500 km of ice road from Fort McMurray to Fort Smith,NWT.

So in preparation I figured a Pre-Run would probably be a good idea. Try and log a solid day of driving a some wheeling to make sure all the bugs are worked out before crossing the 60th parallel.

Anyone interseted in meeting up with a few trucks near Athabasca or any trails north of Edmonton sometime at the end of January??????????

So far there should be four Toyotas and a Nissan.

Sounds like a great idea. Kind of early to commit, but if I'm not buried in books at the time and it's not -30*C.......

ditto....i dont know what my work load is going to be at that point...but even if its -30 i would think about it so just depends on school...so long as the heater in my truck is worken....that and so long as i have a truck to drive, goin to look at one on sunday so hopefully wont be cruiserless for too much longer

he is, if he lay off the "Lucky's" and "S-t-rongbow's" long enough to work on his truck! Good thing i'm back in town next week to get him motivated!!!
