I have a 2006 LX470. I want XM radio. Instructions found here say it has it..all I need to do is press the AM/SAT button twice and will toggel betweem them. But mine doesn't seem to do that. Never goes to SAT. Just satays on AM. What am I doing wrong?

Have you verified its connected? I believe this was a port installed option to our US trucks. My antenna is a little magnetic box that sits on the roof. The cable runs down next to the hatch weatherstripping then under the truck.

I dont know how to verify its connected. There is a short 4 or 5" antenna in the back drivers side. But shouldnt it still go to SAT even without antenna?

There was a port/dealer installed kit, that was required to have XM radio.

I see the unit is now produced and sold as SL3sat-L. Amazon has it for $309. Just purchased

Can this be purchased now?
I believe the original kit is long gone and NLA.

That sounds like a Vais part number, and should have equivalent functionality.
