I have this warn winch and it's at least 10 years old.. Not working unless I gently tap the top with a leather hammer. It clicks a bit while attempting to engage.. My leveraged assumption is that my solenoids are worn out.. Any ideas or part numbers? Thanks in advance for all input ..

I would say 100% absolutely, positive, maybe it's your solenoids.

Take the cover off and check that no connections are corroded, clean everything up and then see what happens.

Might be a good time to go electronic, though there's nothing wrong with just replacing the solenoids.

There are many sites that cover how to test solenoids, check each on individually or just replace them all.

What do you mean to go "electronic"? Us "old" guys don't always know about new upgrades…thanks.

Also, does anyone know if I can mount a similar xd9000i on it's back? For a rear bumper. Sorry about the hijack...

Sorry, I've been purchasing off road gear of all kinds for nearly 35 years and have had plenty of real world experience and do not trust anything from Rugged Ridge.. IMO, low end junk..
