Anyone have one laying around that they would like to part with??

Ill have to take a look, but i do believe i have a forward shift case, and a set of top shift rails. What are you working on now Jeff?

Im going to build a lefty. I need to get my 4.7s out of my crawl box and into the tcase where they belong. Plus the input shaft on the chain drive case is shorter than my dong, so i want the piece of mind that comes with the longer input of the gear drive cases. Let me know what you find!!

nice

Or you could just throw a solid axle up front and keep the "righty". :grinpimp:

Cool man, although I kinda agree with John, you should just throw a solid axle under it. I know a guy who has an FJ-80 axle sitting in his garage hed sell for cheap.

Ill try and get over to my old residence in New Lenox and take a look in the attic, see if that t-case is still up there.

As cool as an SAS would be, i really dont need one. My truck is fine the way it is, i just need some beef in the driveline. I also like that sleeper look, and following all the SAS guys and doing the same stuff they do!! Plus in order to put a righty in this thing, it would need all kind of exsaust work. An SAS is minumum 3years off for my truck, i already have a waggy axle sitting in rons garage left over from a jeep project with the tacos name on it. I want to get this lefty (over)built, and a cage/tube bed on the truck after i get my new frame from toyota, then it will be SAS time!!

I cant argue with that. I love the sleeper look, and you've followed me all over the badlands no problem. But the extra beef of a SA vs IFS is nice peace of mind. I cant imagine it taking 3 years though.

Ive got a 3.4/"righty"/toyota axle. And the exhaust work isnt too bad. if you dont want to cross it over to the drivers side off the motor (I didnt feel like it), you can just cross it tight under the range box(s). I did it with scrap exhaust pipe I had laying around.

Getting that "rusty frame recall"? seems like a sweet deal. I assume your required to have toyota do the frame swap....otherwise it would be easy to sas while doing a frame swap.

Yea hopefully this year, I have alot of stuff that i want to weld to this truck lol!! Also you have to remember that if i do a SAS, then i need new rear springs to match the front, new tires blah blah blah, then all the s***ty trails around here become too easy!!

True. Unless you want to go to the Cliffs.
