Met a couple fellas at Cabela's this weekend. Brothers, from Topeka and Arizona. The guy from AZ has a '76 FJ40 and the one in Topeka would like to own one. His name is John Love and I have his email addy. Might be kind'a cool to hook'em up with one or more of the Topeka folks or even see if he can away to the Asher's in a couple weeks. I'll send him an email this evening with a link to the TAC forum.

I was going to suggest Zan's '78 40, but after looking back through his post, I see it already sold.
He could try going over to Expert Off Road on Kansas Ave, in Topeka and talk with the owner of the store. Maybe he know's someone in the area. I did drive by there a couple of weeks ago and saw a red, possibly a '78" FJ40 sitting outside with a for sale sign on it. When I drove back by a half hour later, it was gone. Either way, Kirk(Shotgun) and I will be watching for one.

IIRC, the 40 at Expert OR was the belonged to the owner's dad. It looked good from a distance, but the exterior needed work. Interior looked really clean, though.
