did u ever find a cruiser....i have one that might fit the bill....its a LITTLE higher but is already road worthy, its a 71...good engine and tranny. good paint. not my fave color, but good paint. has a some blistering on the lower door sills, that seems to be pretty common, but it is a shame, wouldve been so easy to fix before it was painted. it is also kind of neat because its the only one i've seen witht eh 3 spd manual tranny, and the vacuum operated transfer case. at frst i thought it ws some aftermarket kit, but i got to looking and it is all factory. AND it all works. even has all the right badging and the sift diagram on the glove box explains it petty simply....let me know if you wanna see it. it runs and drives really well. in fact, if i wasn't SO close to finishing my oter 71, id probably turn this one into my project, wouldve been a LOT less work than the one i built.....oh well, live and learn.
