WTB Diesel 40 or any Pre-'80 TLC

Looking to buy a running diesel 40 series or other diesel Pre-1980.

Willing to travel.

Looking for a project rig, but would prefer a running truck (engine runs, truck doesn't have to move) with most of the major parts still intact (tranny, axles, t-case, etc.).

Trying for a sub $3k cruiser, but may consider up to $5k.

Just thought I would mention it, have an 82 bj42 that I am hoping to keep, am rust checking it at the moment and taking care of some small things. It is running great 400thousand plus K's, body was rebuilt in 98, I have rust in the frame and have been brushing it down with an angle grinder, still lots of metal there and my hope is I'll have th money to do a frame off this summer...But being a student and an LC owner does go hand in hand, I may need to sell come april and would be looking at $7000 Canadian, know its a bit more than the rust bucket your looking for...but... I'lll be straight up about the condition, your getting a vehicle that has the basics and is in solid running order, but needs some love, suspension, electrical and rust checking as I have been doing. So am writing to see if your interested in importing from Canada and if you want more information come march/April.
