I got my large at the annual Eggfest event at Seasonal Distributors in Waldorf. Waldorf Eggfest
It was first used that day, and I got it for $150 off. Downside is that it's in May.

I found a Large locally. Guy is asking $550. It's "new", but see this picture of the cracked firebox. Does anyone know if this is repairable or okay to use cracked like this? I was thinking of offering him $400 or $450. He didn't disclose the crack in his ad, and either doesn't realize it's a problem or is hoping buyers wont notice (unlikely).
That's not a crack. It's a saw cut made to allow the box to expand and contract more freely to avoid future failure. I guess the newer ones have that feature. Mine does not.
