We are seeking a family car to export to Costa Rica. We wish to purchase a round Headlight 60 series truck. Our time frame for purchase is in the beginning of September, when I'll be visiting the US. I'll be paying cash and I have a budget to accomodate any potential truck. Our area of search includes the Western US, but we will go out of this area for an execptional opportunity.
Our plan is to purchase a vehicle with cash at the beginning of our trip and drive it around during the west coast portion of our vacation. I'll ship it to Costa Rica while we are visiting family on the east coast leg of our vacation. Hopefully the truck will arrive in Costa Rica about the time we return from our family visit.
We are seeking a competent vehicle for our "off the grid" country location. The vehicle must be free of rust, with a good to excellent body, paint and interior. No engine conversions, please. Must have manual trans and functioning A/C! We have no color preference and will consider all offerings!
I need at least the following improvements: Minimum of 33" tires with matching spare, lift and proper rim off-set to achieve proper fit. Appropriate gearing to accomodate larger tire diameter, rear locking diff.
Things I consider to be bonus items are: Roof rack, winch, snorkel, stereo, larger tires, front locker, air compressor, DIESEL MOTOR!
