WTB 80 or 100 NC

Hi guys,

Just joined ih8mud last week and just found the upstate site, nice group ya got here...

I'm looking for a 80 or 100 that will have to serve as a daily driver for at least a few years, while it'll see some trail duty, I'm more concerned about the PE vs. accessories... Oh yea, and I'm a bit limited on funds, really, really need to stay around $7k, might be able to stretch that a little bit, but I'm wanting to save a few bucks back to get the pe 100% if it's not been kept up. Wish list would be a '97 80 or '99 100, 3rd row, lockers , etc

I've seen where a few of ya have posted when somethings for sale near ya, please keep those coming! I'm just outside of Hickory, NC, hope to find something within a few hours drive.

You can get an 80 @ 7k but prob not a 100 in good shape. Turkeypen's 100 is an excellent option but just above your price range.

Turkeypen's '98 for 10k is the best "value" I've seen in quite a while. I know it's above your limit, but you'd be well served as he maintains his vehicles very well.

Thanks David, was nice meeting you and your family, and great recommendation on the restaurant. Ride back was great, wife and daughter loved seeing the 100 cruising down the interstate...

I went over my original budget but the 100 fits my family's needs better than an 80 would have. This will be a DD and vacation hauler for a few years, won't be many mods in its near future other than a roof rack for camping/ski/bike stuff and maybe some sliders, but then again, who knows
