My wife was driving in heavy traffic on I-20 yesterday and was rear-ended by a tractor trailer. She's fine, and the LC held up surprisingly well, with visible damage only to the rear bumper and liftgate area (looks like the truck overrode the hitch). Didn't even break the rear glass or tail lights. The LC is one tough truck.
Before I start my fight with the trucker's insuarance company, the question is this: What should I have checked out? It is a 1999 LC with about 63,000 miles. Even though there is not much visible damage, I'm worried that the kncoke that teh 80k pound truck gave the LC could have affected something I can't see. I know I want to have the frame alignment checked, along with the suspension, drivelines, diffs, etc. Any other advice on components or systems to have checked out? Thanks in advance.
