So umm Ray (RAYJON) comes over last night. Nice guy. First one of you i've met so far. He wanted my seats and running boards.

Anyways.. so he pulls up and his paint color scheme is identical to mine (as if that's not weird enough, there aren't too many of the two tones that we have). This is where it gets really weird.

They're both 1993's.
They're both 1/2 build sticker on the head cover.
They're both build date - March.
They're both from the Sacramento area!
They're vin# are only within 500 vehicles!

What a trip!

Sorry that Ray had to be the first of the group you met! :flipoff2: hehehe ;)

Ohh but the doctor says I am doing much better with the new medication:D :D :D

Dave is a great guy and will be a fun addition to the group he has done alot and wants to do some expidition type stuff..... and he has a great start and a real nice cruiser, very clean and well taken care of... look forward to wheeling and seeing what you do with your cruiser.....

I forgot to ask if you can cook, Brent thinks we need help in that area;)

Sorry I couldn't stay and chat but I made it to Sams (RPK80) for the lift kit in about an hour and back home by 1130 last night, was quite a run...

Got to meet 2 great 80 owners .... and run out half a tank of gas my wife had just put in....

I was the second 80 Ray ventured towards and met for a little lift action. It's always nice to put a face and a hand shake to a Screen Name. I think I will make a shirt with my SN on it for SnT just like orangefj did for the Rubicon

Wow, what a trip. I bought my 80 from a guy that had no idea what he had in Costa Mesa. Shortly after I met Tare and Boyd who both live within 3-4 blocks of where I bought mine and their 80's are white. Also Brent checked out a clean cruiser that eventually sold to El Mariachi I think, that was white and in Costa Mesa. Apparently Costa Mesa is a hot bed for 80's. That is no almost identical same year and rare color combo but I found it amusing. Look forward to meeting you tomorrow.
