Send some snow our way!

Such cool wind patterns in the snow. Was a very howling wind night.

More snow here in CT. Picked up some backer board from a guy off the marketplace about 30 mins from me this AM. Tunnel Rod, Vernon.
Snow started after about 10 mins of driving. 3-6” in the forecast and by 5pm we had nearly 10”.
Tires are nice. Definitely an upgrade to the truck.

Little ride into the state forest in my town. Truck handled well in 4L. Had to pull over a bit for a couple Jeep’s to pass, my passenger ie: my tyranny knight, got a tad nervous but the truck kept doing what I asked. I didn’t take any other chances after that. Slid out of 4W easily first time in, second time I had to do a little reverse pop but not bad.

Thanks it was. He was suggesting I go off the edge of the road here and there and to be honest I was wimping out. Only when the Jeep’s came roaring toward me did I slowly go over and she bit right in. I’m looking into a 12v powered air compressor. W/o gear I’m a tad apprehensive to go wandering.

I've been pleased with the SuperFlow MV50 12V air compressor I bought just before Solid Axle Summit #3.
Ok cool thanks. Looks a bit more stout than the $50ish dollar one I saw on Amazon too/

I have a Viair 88P I keep in our small motorhome. It's relatively inexpensive and has worked well whenever I've needed it. My only complaint is the lack of a pressure switch to turn it off automatically once you detach the hose from the valve stem. And it gets hot (they all do), so need to be careful when putting it away after using. Otherwise, it's a great entry level portable unit.

I was given this for my birthday a few years ago. It's kinda slow, but does the job. Room in there for tire deflater, plug kit, spare valve cores, etc. I don't leave it in the rig because of thieves.
