Hello

Here is the plan for the work day on the Pipeline, Saturday, November 13th.

We'll meet at the BP gas station on Hwy 32 as you come into Lakewood, WI at 9am Saturday morning. We will be dividing into 3 groups; two groups will be working on filling in some badly eroded areas and the third group will be traveling the length of the Pipeline from Buck's Ranch Road (FR2101) to County W and picking up garbage.

We will be leaving the BP by 9:15 or 9:30.

Everyone should bring a shovel, some garbage bags, and a lunch.

The plan is to be done by 3:30 and get the group together again to wrap up what was done. Also, I want to get everyone from each work site to the other to see what has been done.

For those that want to carpool or caravan, there are a few options. There will be a group leaving the Neenah, WI area; there will be room for a bunch of people to ride along in a 15 passenger van if you don't want to drive. Ken Linzmeyer will be leaving from Green Bay around 7am, so anyone that wants to caravan along with either they can. If anyone is leaving from other areas, please post it at http://www.wohva.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=80 also so the groups can be formed and the meeting places established.

There is also a WI Club (Damage Inc.) that will be camping at McCaslin Mountain Campground, so if you want to camp, look them up.

Ken will be in a maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee, Extreme Offroaders stickers on the side windows. Please find him, as we would like everyone to sign in. We will get you set up with a group and the group leader at the gas station.

We have use of some equipment; skid steers and mini-excavators to help with the work of digging trenches, moving rocks, and to fill in dirt. We have also been in contact with the Forest Service and ANR Pipeline to coordinate this plan and have approval for the work we need to do.

Thanks for all your help on this project. This maintenance work is needed to prevent further erosion to the Pipeline trail in the spring, and in general to keep the trail open to recreational four wheeling here in WI.

Any other interests in Wisconsin, feel free to check out Wisconsin Off-Highway Vechicle Association's web site at www.wohva.com .

Thank you.
