Has anyone in the Memphis area dealt with this dealership for parts? I am in need of a passenger side mirror for my 91' fj80. They quoted me around $90 plus tax for the glass only. After crapping a chicken, i called American Toyota to see what they could do. Same part was around $40 plus tax before the 25% mud discount. WTF?!?!?! Seems way off to me.

So i called back and got a quote on the whole mirror assy.

wolfchase Toyota: $240ish
American Toyota : $130ish

Just needed to vent, I feel better now.

You might get better luck at Performance if the right person is behind the counter. You might want to try junk yards first though: www.car-part.com/

I don't buy parts locally anymore. You have to go in person to order and pay, and then go again to pick up your stuff. CDan is faster, cheaper, and more likely to get you the right part.

well luckily there is a guy in the mud forums trading in his 91 for the CFC program. Picked up his mirror for $30 shipped, just waiting on it to get here. Now if i can get my bumper made and a cb in it before the cruiser crawl i'll be doing good.
