I just sent in some info to John at White Knuckle Offroad about the sliders I have on the 100 series...and mentioned that someone this past weekend stated they wish they made them for the 60 series.

He told me he is designing and building some now and will be available by first of year.

He said they will look exactly like the ones on my 100 series if anyone is interested in an alternative to what is out there for sliders on the 60 series.

I really like them with the diamond plate. I still plan on building them myself, though. I have the welder, pipe bender, and the skills, I just need to find some cheap 2"square tubing.

My sliders were sold me as DOM and my recollection is they were about twice as strong per weight as 'regular steel pipe'. Then I found this thread on Pirate:

What is DOM tube? - Pirate4x4.Com

So the whole thing is way way Too Much Information but bottom line use DOM. I'm satisfied that my sliders have taken licks that would have folded or cracked std pipe.
