Winter Campout Jan 26-27??

Just throwing this out to gauge interest. Considering a winter camping trip last week of January with a full moon that weekend. I used to winter camp in upstate NY quite a lot decades ago. Still do camp in winter, but in places like Florida and Baja. But I'd like to see if this old guy can handle camping in the snow. Dates and location will have TBD by weather and snow cover as we get closer. Alternative dates will be February 23-24. That's another full moon weekend. Camping under a full moon with snow on the ground is an amazing experience.

Well, not for me either. That's why I set an alternate weekend. What I will be shooting for is moderate temps, no wind, clear skies and some snow cover. This trip will not be a suffer fest. I expect to take my 10x10 canvas tent and propane heater to be comfortable.
