i don't have the 'cruiser around for reference right now, so i was wondering if someone could help me out.

i just want to know if i could use the stock t-case(edit: oh, it's a '74 FJ-40 ) with a centered-diff rear axle like, oh let's say......a Unimog 404 ???

you can. As long as the combined offset is not greater than the U joint can handle
