Wife saved 40 from falling tree today

My great wife saved the 40 from a falling tree today. We had high winds in Portland today. We live in a forest and the wind was pushing one of the trees toward the 40 while I was at work. She moved the 40 to a safe place and texted me to tell me about it. Tree fell and would have landed straight on top of the 40 if she had not acted so quickly. I am truly blessed in many ways but most of all for a great wife. In the pic you can see the wheel chokes that were behind the rear tires of the 40 before it was moved.

I am in Portland too and made sure my troopy was parked in a safe spot away from big branches when I was woken up by pine cones hitting my bedroom windows from the wind.

Good for her! Your 40 faired better than our fire truck. It got hit by a falling tree yesterday while responding to a call. Luckily, everyone was okay.
