I was on West near 29th and saw a red lifted 40 on what looked like 33x9.5 BFGs around 4:40pm today. I had never seen the rig before or heard mention of who it might be. Is it owned by someone in TAC? If I wasn't pressed for time I would have tracked it down to talk to the person. Just curious.
 
Can I assume that since no one that read this knows of this rig?

I guess the next time I see it I'll try and run it down and swap info.
 
My Son Derricks is a red 71 fj40 on 35 mtrs, black hood, black bestop, green doors. Not aware of any other red ones around Witchitaw.... There should be a green fj40 out at Ratheon.. Have you seen it?

I was pretty sure there was slim chance you knew the guy but you never know, you get around.:D



This one wasn't in bad shape at all but it was at ~200 feet. It had a red/white hard top and the tires were pretty narrow maybe 33x9.5
 
Dam, that sounds familiar. :D

Weren't you folks (real club members) working on revised artwork for the web site, stickers and such? Now I'm still an outsider till I cough some dough next month but wouldn't it be a good idea to have one design for all that has a blank for names & numbers and has the TAC web site, logo and this place? That way if you happen so see a rig the card can be put in the window. Just brainstorming.

Saw another 40 yesterday, a blue hardtop parked at the salon across from New Market Square.

They are coming out of the wood work.
 
The blue one is mine, my wife works at the salon and she drives the 40 sometimes.

Are you the guy with the black 80 I waved to this morning (Me - Black LX450)? If so, I catch you about once a week. Yesterday saw you on 45th/Ridge at around 6PM.

That was me heading to work on Ridge. I think you are one of three guys on the west side that wave. I'm so used to to the soccer moms tooling around town. I assume you live on the west side? If so some of us occasionally get together for bite to eat and BS. I think there are five of us that have LCs on the west side.

I didn't see another 80 when I was up by 45th but I wasn't really paying attention either. I was heading to a nice ditch east of Ridge to get crossed up and check a few clearances.

I too have noticed the parked blue 40 and, sometimes Lexus, while going up Maize. I wondered if they belonged to someone at the salon, or they just spent a lot of money there.
 
I am thankful for the wimmins that spend lotsa money there. :)

I think I've seen your Tacoma, too. Is it white?

Yes, and hopefully this weekend sporting some new sliders:D

Another guy on the west side has a white ext cab, and scheduled to swap a solid axle in this month.
