It's a 1998 4Runner poverty pack aside from the AT. Doesn't even have a clock or tilt steering (I'm going to add both)! In my defense it was the deal of a lifetime. And I did my own PPI, so it's on me if it all goes Pete Tong. /indefensible

I think the market is soft all around for classic stuff, especially those cars / trucks that ran up big during and after Covid. BaT seems like an exception to some degree. The "appears that the owner may have sat in what appears to be a vehicle at some point in the past, don't hold us to it" type descriptions drives me nuts. And the comment section... But if you're looking to get top dollar, it's not a bad option.

EDIT - good article from Rob Siegel on BaT and ratty 2002s. Good dude - contributed to a project he worked on getting a deceased friend's 2002tii up and on BaT as a mitzvah to his widow.

This begs the question if, at some point, say 40 years in my case, if you still have the same S.O. as when you started, it’s ok to call it a lifestyle rather than an addiction?
