Just saw this insane footage from a 1972 Darien Gap crossing
Makes me wonder is it still the same suicide mission today? Who here would actually attempt this now with modern gear? be honest

really hooked on the topic, read a lot about how many crazy people actually made it through that hellish stretch
its starting to seem like it might be possible ,,, well almost.

Pretty good YouTube video of their crossing. It doesn't look fun at all.
